The Joy of Napoli!

Naples is in a mess.  Rubbish piling up, no dumps, no willing workers. The politicians have been speaking of this crisis on the TV since the beginning of December, as I write this it’s February 22 and it’s just getting worse. Corruption is a nasty word, as is ‘mafia’, and their stink is worse than the putrid waste rotting in the streets.

Here’s a video posted at YouTube in January:

I ask, “what can I do?”. Miles away from it all, yet concerned none-the-less.  It truly saddens me.

I suppose we must continue to support ‘the just’ and ‘the good’ in society, live by eithical values and try to encourage such behaviour in others, what more can be done?
